some handcart pioneers left precious family heirlooms behind on the trail, others must have left this:

At my mom's house there is a 9" TV/VCR combo machine in one of the guest bedrooms. When we let the kids lay in bed and watch a movie (VHS, nonetheless), they thought they were in heaven.

Tonight I overheard Halle telling her best galpal, Lauren, about the experience. In her words, she said:

"My Grandma Kremin has a TV in the bedroom we slept in - you know, the kind from the olden days - and we watched a videotape at bedtime!"

It makes me feel old to know my memory recalls the days before something that came from the OLDEN DAYS!!!!

pretty sweet set-up

Sunday Carson wanted to watch a movie but of course a major golf championship was taking place on TV, so he and daddy compromised. He felt pretty cool with his own "table" and "TV"!

For Sale: Please help spread the word!

We are selling our wonderful 2006 Toyota Sienna. I'm a little bummed, because it's such a fabulous car (when you have kids you can't ask for anything better than this), but I'm also excited because we're selling it in order to buy a camp trailer and the vehicle to pull it! Click HERE to view the KSL Ad for more information.

We are also selling a NEW, UNUSED Pottery Barn 42" Flat-Panel TV Frame. It's a long story about how it got into our possession, but it's in perfect condition and is so beautiful! For $375 you're getting a great deal on something no longer available and still priced hundreds less than the cheesy tv-frames at RC Willey or even Wal-Mart (those two stores had them priced between $500-800 and some weren't even made of wood!). For more info, CLICK HERE.
Doesn't it look CLASSY???

for all you SVU fans out there...may you not be as obsessed as I am. * it's scary, really, but if you ARE, this vids for you, so turn off my playlist:

Season 10 can't start soon enough! Let's hope it's better than season 9. Something more like Season 7. (See? I'm a total L&O geek; self-proclaimed, I might add.)

Less than one week to go until the Season Premiere. Don't bother calling me Tuesday nights between 9-10. Now that we no longer have a DVR, I will not be available one hour a week due to a television program.
.
And YES, I realize how pathetic that sounds.
