Alright-y! I'm here to announce that we're back on Weight Watchers and feelin' motivated! We did "WW" before and had great success. (Then we totally fell off the wagon and went back to our sinful, gorging, gluttonous ways!) I'm a big believer in the program, mostly because it's not a diet. It's a LIFESTYLE.
I've mentioned this before, but did not receive a good response (a big thanks to Joleen...I do have to give her credit becauseshe totally came through for me with some fabulous food!), so I'm trying again to reach out to all of you...
If you have any low-fat, low-sugar, or high-fiber recipes (in other words, recipes that would register "low" in Weight Watchers points) that you think are worthwhile, I would be so grateful if you'd share them with me! You could put them in a comment for this post or you can email me at brettandhope@gmail.com

You go girl! I'll get you some recipes...I'm thinking of joining on line.
This recipe is WW approved, 2 cups= 1 point, plus any extras you add to it, like sour cream, cheese, or chips.
1 lrg. can chicken broth
1 box 99% fat free Stag Chicken Ranchero Chilli
1 can black or kidney beans
1 mexican style crushed/diced tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 chopped zuchini
2 chopped yellow crookneck squash
1 Tbsp. taco seasoning
Spray skillet with pam. saute onions and squash, until onions are clear.
In large pot, combine all ingredients and simmer until hot.
This makes quite a bit. So you can have it for several meals. This doesn't taste like it's diet food. It's really quite good, very flavorfull, and will fill you up.
Awesome! Thanks, Arah! Can't wait to try it... Sounds like it would be perfect on a cold winter evening! Keep 'em coming...
P.S. You sound familiar with WW. Have you done it before?
I told you! I can't help you!! How many points is Little Debbie??
My mom recently told me about this sight, sparkrecipes.com, it's got a bunch of healthy, low fat recipes. I haven't tried any out yet, but I saw several that sounded pretty tasty!

Hope, Costco has some really great Weight Watchers recipe books for about $18 I think. They looked so good I almost bought one. Thanks for your blog!
