"LaRee as a Little Girl" by Wyatt M. Taft

Wyatt loves his Grandma B. (LaRee). Or actually, "adores" may be a better word. He thinks she hung the moon and is so good to her. He's gentle and loving, patient and complimentary. He goes out of his way to make her feel special and loved. He's sensitive to her feelings, and always ALWAYS remembers her in family prayers. One day he decided he wanted to write a story about a little girl named LaRee who loved her cats and horses. He even asked for illustrations from the computer he could color. Once he'd finished his masterpiece, he put it in a manilla envelope and asked if we could mail it to her.
I'm so proud of the respect and tender love he shows his grandparents and the interest he has in who they are and who they've been. I hope he'll always value their influence and experience.

Hope Sig1
