golden friends.

You've heard that old saying, "Make new friends, but keep the old; One is silver, the other is gold"? Well, we've been fortunate to have some excellent friends in our lives, and some golden ones are the Beebes from Mesa, Arizona. Lucky for us, Amanda's mom lives in Sandy, so we usually get to see them at least once a year when they visit her for the holidays. We know how busy it can be when you're with your relatives, so we're grateful they made time for dinner and a friendly game of BOWLING on the 28th! The kids picked up where they last left off in December of '08--I can't believe how grown up Taylor and Halle are! What's even better is that they coincidentally wore the SAME sweater, just with different patterns/colors in them! Megan and Wyatt were adorable 4 and 5 year olds and of course Carson just loved slippin' and slidin' up and down the bowling lanes. Amanda and I occasionally stopped chatting long enough to bowl, but Doug and Brett were fairly serious about out-scoring each other. 'Have to say that the food at All-Star Lanes was pretty durn tasty, too... Next time, we (I) had better be able to meet Baby Emily (she stayed at Grandma's house this time since bowling alleys aren't exactly "mobile-baby" friendly)...
